The burial of six children and adolescents killed by lightning in Pabna has been completed after their funeral prayers. On Friday afternoon, they went to fish in the Sonapatila bill, and while taking shelter in a tong house during rain, six of them died due to lightning strikes, while two others were seriously injured. The government has provided financial assistance of 50,000 taka to each victim's family and 25,000 taka to the injured families.
