A truck carrying 820 sacks of fertilizer overturned and plunged into a ditch in Kaliganj, Jhenaidah. The incident took place on Sunday (November 1) around 12:00 PM in front of Mubarakganj Sugar Mill.
Shahidul Islam, leader of Kaliganj Fire Service, stated that the vehicle was coming from Jashore to Jhenaidah. Due to an overload and an uneven road in front of the sugar mill, the front wheel of the truck broke while giving side to another vehicle. As the driver lost control, the fertilizer-laden truck fell into the ditch.
