Police have arrested a 40-year-old man in Narsingdi on charges of producing and selling nude videos to international porn sites. Acting on intelligence information, the Palash police detained him during a drive in the Ghorashal area of Palash upazila on Friday.
Police said the man, a resident of Gazipur's Kaliganj, lived with his family in a rented house in Madhwadi, Narsingdi, where he had been producing nude videos for a long time. These videos were sold for large sums of money on various international pornographic websites, and detectives found evidence of suspicious transactions in his bank account.
Detecting surveillance by intelligence agencies, the family moved from Madhwadi to the Ghorashal area of Palash around noon today. Police stated that pornographic materials were recovered from the house following the arrest, and legal procedures to send the accused to court are underway.
