The victims are Ajajul Mia (20), son of Dulal Mia from Hajrahati village in Bhanga municipality, Swadhin Sarkar Sohan (20), son of Shahadat Sarkar, and Rajan Ali (21) from Ziakuli village in Nagarkanda upazila. Bhanga Highway Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md. Touhid Ahmed stated that the collision occurred due to the reckless speed of the motorcycles. Two of them died on the spot, and another succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital. Injured Nasim Matubbar (20) is currently undergoing treatment at the hospital.
Meanwhile, Faridpur-4 MP Shahidul Islam Khan Babul expressed deep shock over the death of the three youths. In a condolence message, he prayed for the salvation of the departed souls and expressed profound sympathy to the bereaved families.
